The Eddington Group was established in 1948 by John J. Wynn as Eddington Tool & Die Company. As industrial output soared in the 1950s, demand for quality manufacturing propelled Eddington Tool & Die to become one of the leading machine shops in the Philadelphia area.
By the mid-60s, the company doubled the size of its manufacturing plant to meet the demands of such large corporations such as General Motors and others, however; as the need for tool and die making declined, and a technology revolution swept across manufacturing in the United States, the company retooled to invest in computerized machining centers and software technology to increase productivity and produce parts for companies across various industrial sectors.
Today, Eddington Industries, LLC carries on the tradition of high-quality and manufacturing that John Wynn founded more than six decades ago. As we go through the 21st century, Eddington Industries will continue in the fine tradition of producing quality products and helping our customers realize their goals through a productive vendor/customer relationship that is second to none. The Eddington Group remains a family-owned and operated business managed by Mark Wynn, a graduate of Villanova University’s School of Engineering.
